If you have registered for NIELIT CCC, the first thing you actually need is the syllabus — not a general description of the course, but the list of chapters, in order, so you know exactly what the 100 questions will come from.
This page gives you that list. Below is the complete CCC syllabus for 2026, chapter by chapter, with what each chapter contains, roughly how many questions it carries, and a direct link to the free notes and practice questions we have put online for that chapter.
Zed-King Group of Institute, Kaithal is a NIELIT Study Centre (ACCR-O3292) under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. The syllabus on this page is the one we teach in class.

How to Finish the CCC Syllabus in 3 Months
The syllabus is not hard, but it is wide. This is the plan we follow with students at the centre:
Weeks | What to do |
|---|---|
Week 1 – 3 | Chapters 1 and 2. Learn the vocabulary properly — the rest of the syllabus assumes it. |
Week 4 – 6 | Chapters 3 and 5. Word processing and presentation together, both on a real computer. |
Week 7 – 8 | Chapter 4, spreadsheet. Give it the most practice time of any chapter. |
Week 9 – 10 | Chapters 6 and 7. Concepts and full forms — revise these with the one-liner sets. |
Week 11 | Chapters 8 and 9. Newer topics, and the easiest to forget, so keep them close to the exam. |
Week 12 | Full-length practice only. Model test papers and mock tests, nothing new. |
One rule that matters more than the plan: CCC is a computer-based exam about using a computer. Reading the notes will get you to about 60. Sitting at a keyboard and actually doing the tasks is what takes you to an A grade.
Free CCC Study Material and Mock Tests
Everything for this syllabus is free on our Study Zone — no login, no fee, no form. You can read every PDF in the browser or download it.
CCC Study Zone home — everything in one place
Chapter-wise notes — all 9 chapters as free PDFs
Chapter-wise MCQ — practice questions with answers for every chapter
Model test papers — full-length practice papers
True/False question bank — the most repeated ones
Complete CCC syllabus PDF — download and keep
Free online mock test — the real exam screen, with a timer and instant grade
The mock test runs on the same kind of interface as the actual NIELIT exam — a countdown timer, a question palette, and a grade the moment you submit. Students who take three or four full mock tests before the exam almost always score a grade higher than those who only read.
After CCC — Where the Certificate Takes You
A CCC certificate is the computer-literacy proof asked for in a large number of government recruitments — HSSC Clerk, Patwari, Gram Sachiv and many Central Government posts. We have written about that in detail in why a CCC certificate is mandatory for government jobs and the full NIELIT certificate and government jobs guide.
If you want to go further than basic literacy, NIELIT O Level is the next step — a one-year diploma-level qualification that is treated as an IT qualification in its own right for many posts.
