CCC Passing Marks & NIELIT Grade System 2026: S to F Grades, Marks Out of 100

Quick answer: to pass the NIELIT CCC exam you need 50 marks out of 100 (50%). There is no negative marking and no section-wise cut-off — only the total counts. Your result shows a grade: S, A, B, C or D is a pass, F is a fail. The same S-to-F scale is used for BCC, CCC+, ECC and for O Level and A Level papers.

50 me passing marks kitne hain? (Pass marks if a paper is out of 50)

The CCC paper is out of 100, but students often calculate a mock test or section out of 50. The rule is always 50% — so out of 50 you need 25; out of 60 you need 30; out of 40 you need 20. Grade boundaries scale the same way: out of 50, S starts at 42.5, A at 37.5, B at 32.5, C at 27.5 and D at 25.

D grade means how many marks out of 100?

D grade is 50 to 54 marks out of 100 — the lowest passing grade. 49 or below is F.

Is C or D Grade Valid for Government Jobs?

Yes. A pass is a pass: notices that ask for "CCC" do not mention a grade, so D and S are equally eligible. A minimum grade matters only if a notification states one in writing — read the advertisement, not a rumour. More on which jobs ask for CCC: is CCC mandatory for government jobs.

A higher grade still helps in private-job interviews and looks better on your file, so aim for A or S if you are writing anyway.

O Level and A Level: Passing Is Per Paper

O Level and A Level use the same grade scale, with one difference students often miss:

• 50% in every paper, separately. Each theory module and each practical must be cleared on its own. A strong M3 score cannot rescue a weak M1 — there is no aggregate.

• Fail one module, keep the others. A failed module is written again in the next January or July cycle; passed modules stay passed.

• Practical counts. The practical exam has its own 50% pass mark. Practise with the free O Level practical mock tests.

Got F? What Happens Next

• Nothing is lost except time — you register for the next cycle and write the whole CCC paper again.

• CCC is now held only in March, June, September and December. The next exam starts on 5 December 2026; its form closes on 31 October 2026 — see CCC exam date 2026.

• Most F grades come from the same three gaps: no full-length timed mock, weak LibreOffice menus and shortcuts, and skipping the digital-payments and cyber-security chapters.

How to Score A or S

• Cover the whole CCC syllabus — LibreOffice questions trip up students who only used MS Office.

• Solve chapter-wise MCQs, then full papers: free CCC notes, MCQs and model papers.

• Write at least five complete papers against a 90-minute timer.

• Practise on a real computer, not only from notes.

• Attempt all 100 questions.
